CHRYSTIE NYC was founded in the Big Apple in 2016, by pro skater Aaron Hennington (Polar Skate Co. pro) and photographer Pep Kim (shot for adidas, Stone Island, and more). The pair teamed up after being a part of the Chinatown Soccer Club NY, and created a brand to support the street skating and urban culture. CHRYSTIE NYC started with simply a sock line, and now their collections include a variety of apparel from t-shirts, sweatshirts, bottoms and accessories. Their roster includes skateboarders like Aaron Herrington himself, Richie Rizzo, Josh Wilson, Nate Pezzillo and John Baragwanath.
