New Balance shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to introducing new silhouettes. After making waves with models like the 1890, 1906, and 2000, the brand is once again expanding its lineup with the upcoming 1954R. Blending performance-inspired design with New Balance's evolving aesthetic, the new runner is set to make its debut soon.

The New Balance 1954R brings together design elements that have defined the brand's recent evolution. At first glance, its overall shape is reminiscent of the popular 1906 series, while the upper combines two of New Balance's signature materials: premium suede and breathable mesh.

Along the side panels, the iconic "N" logo is executed in the brand's N-Lock construction, adding both visual depth and structural support. Around the heel, the 1954R borrows design cues from the 1906A, featuring a grid-pattern TPU heel counter that enhances the shoe's technical aesthetic.

The tongue further elevates the silhouette with embroidered "1954R" branding alongside a classic running-inspired badge, giving the model a heritage-driven touch. Underfoot, the 1954R draws inspiration from the 1890, utilizing a segmented ABZORB cushioning unit that delivers both comfort and a distinctive visual identity.

For its debut, the New Balance 1954R will be released in three launch colourways: U19541R3 "Sea Salt/Linen," U195438R "Slate Grey/Castlerock," and  U19543VU "Triple Black." All three styles are scheduled to release on July 17, 2026.
