As the Spring/Summer season approaches, New Balance rolls out a new wave of releases, highlighted by the upcoming Made in USA U9927WX "Shadow Grey". Reworking its timeless Classic Grey palette, the silhouette is elevated with carbon greytumbled leather across the upper, adding texture and richer visual depth to the heritage runner.

The upper is constructed in a refined two-tone grey execution. The lower section features classic grey nubuck, while the upper half is defined by a deeper shade of tumbled leather, creating a subtle contrast in texture and tone. This is then balanced with a cream-ish mesh base, completing the upper with a soft yet layered composition. Although restrained in palette, the combination of the three materials delivers a strong sense of depth and dimensionality.

The signature N logo is finished in a matching deep grey to echo the upper tumbled leather panel, while outlined with white leather to ensure visual clarity against the darker backdrop, allowing it to subtly stand out without breaking the overall tonal harmony.

Extending the same design language to the sole unit, the midsole continues the two-tone approach. The forefoot is dressed in a clean cream shade, while the heel section returns to New Balance’s signature grey, seamlessly tying the entire silhouette together in a cohesive and understated colour story.
