Reebok x MADWOMEN: Club C Double Geo
Reebok and MADWOMEN reveal their first product collaboration after creating the visual content for Reebok’s most recent
It’s A Man’s World campaign earlier this year. The all-female creative collective and Reebok have teamed up to design two bold iterations of Reebok’s newest women’s Club C silhouette: the Club C Double Geo.
Founded by Marlen Stahlhuth and Larteyley von Hippel and based in Berlin, Germany, MADWOMEN focuses on embracing diversity and female empowerment among different cultures. The collective’s vision is to expand and connect women across the globe, as well as redefine the perspective of women in creative industries. With Reebok being the originator of the first athletic shoe designed for women and a brand that supports female empowerment, the collaboration felt like a natural fit.
When designing the collaboration, Stahlhuth and von Hippel looked back on their time traveling and building the brand. “We’ve loved working together, networking, and creating with other women from across the world, but we know we have a lot more to explore,” the founders explained. “The two colorways were inspired by MADWOMEN’s brand colors, representing both our creative community, as well as our production pillar, which work in tandem to create art every day.”
Introduced earlier this month, the new Club C Double Geo features classic design lines and signature Club C details, combined with a unique platform and geometric shape. Reebok and MADWOMEN’S collaboration provides a fresh take on the new silhouette with details such as a semi translucent rubber sole, leather materials, and co-branded logos throughout the shoe. The collection features two Club C Double Geo colorways: Sandtrap/Orange and Chalk/Peekablue.
The Reebok x MADWOMEN Club C Double Geo will be available online at Solestop.com on July 30, 2021 at 9AM EST.
