Solestop Run Club #6:
A New Experience in the Storm | Saucony Demo Run

On July 18, Solestop Run Club returned for another community run, this time in collaboration with Saucony for a special Demo Run. The event gave participants the opportunity to test Saucony's latest running shoes, Endorphin Azura and Ride 19, while experiencing something new alongside the community.

Although the forecast called for rain, it didn't stop runners from showing up. Around 8:00 a.m., Roman and Ross from Saucony arrived at Solestop to prepare the demo footwear, including the Endorphin Azura and Ride 19. By 8:30 a.m., participants began arriving at the store, eager to learn more about the shoes before heading out on the run. After Roman and Ross introduced the key features and technology behind each model, everyone laced up their demo pairs and got ready to hit the route. To commemorate the event, every participant also received an exclusive Saucony x Solestop Run Club T-shirt.

Running Through the Rain

Just ten minutes into the run, the skies opened up and heavy rain poured down.

While everyone was quickly soaked, the sudden downpour did little to dampen the spirits of the group. Instead of turning back, participants embraced the challenge and continued running together, transforming an unexpected storm into one of the most memorable moments of the day.

Leading the route was Solestop Run Club pacer Freddy, proudly carrying the Saucony x Solestop Run Club flag throughout the run. Even in the rain, the flag remained a symbol of the community's determination and energy.

Fortunately, the heavy rain only lasted a short while before easing into a light drizzle, allowing everyone to comfortably complete the approximately one-hour run.

Refuel and Celebrate

After returning to Solestop, participants had the chance to relax, refuel, and share stories from the rainy run. Fresh baked treats provided by KCBaked and energy drinks from Supplement King helped everyone recover after the unexpected challenge.

Once everyone had a chance to recharge, Saucony and Solestop Run Club wrapped up the event with a giveaway. Lucky winners took home a pair of Saucony running shoes along with accessories from the newly launched Solestop Run Club collection.

The giveaway also brought one of the day's funniest moments. One of the raffle prizes was drawn by a Solestop staff member, who immediately passed the prize on to another participant, earning plenty of laughs from everyone in attendance and making the atmosphere even more memorable.

More Than Just a Demo Run

The Saucony x Solestop Run Club Demo Run was more than an opportunity to test new footwear—it marked another important step in the growth of the Solestop Run Club community.
