Westside Gunn Brings a Luxurious Touch to the Saucony Grid Jazz 9 "Awesome Gods"
Westside Gunn teams up with Saucony to introduce the Grid Jazz 9 “Awesome Gods,” a bold and luxurious take on the classic silhouette. Inspired by Westside Gunn’s unique vision, the design transforms the sneaker into a wild “zoo,” combining statement-making animal prints, faux fur textures, and elevated details throughout.
Westside Gunn x Saucony Grid Jazz 9 “Awesome Gods” stands out for its bold, distinctive design.
The upper is crafted with a mix of faux fur patterns, including zebra, cheetah, and cow prints, creating a playful yet luxurious “zoo” aesthetic. Beyond the animal-print faux fur materials, the Saucony side logo is finished in iridescent faux fur, which is also featured on the toe box, tongue, and heel tab.
To balance the overall colour palette, the shoe is lined with cream-colored leather. The laces are also replaced with leather moccasin-inspired material, adding another layer of texture and refinement to the design.
Griselda branding is incorporated throughout the shoe, including the iconic scorpion motif embroidered on the heel window of the Grid midsole unit. The branding also appears debossed on the insole, featured on the shoe keychain, and printed around the shoebox.
