SSRC × New Balance 6KM Food Drive Demo Run

 

OUR NEXT RUN HAS COMPANY.

Solestop is teaming up with New Balance for the next Solestop Run Club community run, and we are closing out our Food Drive with one final push!

 

Join us on Saturday, October 10th for a special 6KM New Balance Demo Run, bringing together community, movement, and giving back to Markham.

 

All paces are welcome, whether you are a regular at SSRC or joining us for the first time!

 

RUN WITH NEW BALANCE

Before the 6KM run, runners will have the opportunity to try out select New Balance performance footwear and experience them on road throughout our 6KM route.

 

Demo begins: 9:30 AM

Run begins: ~10:00 AM

Distance: 6KM (Route posted on Strava)

Location: Solestop - 179 Enterprise Blvd Unit M105, Unionville, ON L6G 0E7

 

Please note that this event will feature one 6KM run route only. Our usual 2.5KM walk route will not be offered for this run!

 

FINAL FOOD DRIVE PUSH

Since September, SSRC and local community has been helping us collect donations in support of the Markham Food Bank. October 10th marks one of the final days of our Food Drive, and we want to finish strong!

 

We are encouraging everyone joining us on October 10th to bring a donation with them on run day.

 

Most needed items include...

Non-perishable food items (Canned food items, grains, dry goods, baking/cooking essentials)

Shampoo & conditioner

Body wash

Toothpaste & toothbrushes

Menstrual products

 

Every contribution counts, whether you are bringing one item or a full bag! There is still time to give!

 

DONATE & RECEIVE AN NB x SSRC T-SHIRT

To celebrate our final Food Drive push, runners who bring a donation will receive an exclusive New Balance x Solestop Run Club T-Shirt, while supplies last.

 

T-shirts are available in limited quantities and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to those who donate!
