While “dad shoes” have dominated the market for years, the U204L offers a slimmer, more minimalist silhouette, signalling a shift in trend. The first release debuts in a light brown-toned palette, setting the tone for what’s next in lifestyle shoes.

The New Balance U204L silhouette delivers a sleek, low-profile look with retro flair. Designed as a low-top with slim proportions, it draws inspiration from early-2000s running shoes and indoor soccer styles.

The first U204L release comes in a light brown palette, known as the U204LMMA "Mushroom / Arid Stone." The upper features light brown suede accented with light grey and light brown embossed overlays for subtle detail. A white "204L" branding is stitched on the heel, while the collar and laces are crisp white. The shoe sits on a beige EVA midsole paired with an olive-green rubber outsole, completing its vintage-inspired vibe.
