This is also the first time James and Adidas subbed out their usual Boost cushioning to introduce a new Lightstrike system for a perfect mix of cushioning and responsiveness. Although it's a low cut there is a considerable amount of stability, utilizing plush padding in the heel and a mid-foot band to lock in the laces.
