Over the years, Asics has made improvements to the upper and sole of the Gel-Nimbus 10 and Gel-Kayano 14. However, they have retained some of the original design details, such as the pattern above the GEL material of the forefoot, which is the original midsole design derived from the Gel-Nimbus 10.
